We Made It!!!
This is it lovelies, Day 30 of the 30 Day Smile Time Celebration. Our journey is complete, and I have to admit, it’s bittersweet. I have so enjoyed meeting with you every night to celebrate the things that have made our days brighter. (And dancing with my accomplishments has made them all the more spectacular!)
If you’re interested in starting your own Smile Time Celebration, or just want to see where it all began, Day One has everything you need.
I promised yesterday that I would reveal my plans for the evolution of my gratitude practice now that this journey has come to an end. I couldn’t be more excited to tell you that I plan to enroll my husband in a nightly gratitude discussion where we can share the things that made us smile and celebrate the amazing accomplishments we achieved throughout the day. (Not sure he’ll join me for the dance party…but that’s okay. Baby steps!)
Thank you again to everyone who took the time to be here with me. I am so grateful for you all!
Smile Time Celebration
Today I am thankful for:
*The last 30 days, which have taught me so much about who I am, how I want to spend my time and what I am capable of
*Gill + Julie who are there for me when I need them most
*Husband, for being my partner in love, life + smile time
*My heart, for being the only one of its kind
*My life, in which every moment is another opportunity for me to make it everything I want it to be
Today I will celebrate:
*Listening to my soul to find the true evolution of this practice
*Noticing my not enough/want it now patterns + choosing from bright instead
*Making my experience with Kate Northrup’s Money A Love Story more than enough
*Being with fear and finding peace instead of panic
*Recognizing that my initial reward structure reinforces my not enough context + enrolling husband to help me choose from bright instead
*Knowing this chef’s knife will be mine when I can choose it from bright
I waited until this very moment to pick the song to sing us out, and I find it fitting that my heart pointed me here. We started with Gaga + now we’re ending with her. (Of course I couldn’t not use the Glee version!)
Remember, if there’s a song you just can’t get enough of, please share it below & we can build the Smile Time Celebration Playlist to end all playlists!!!
One last chance…
Ready for it lovelies? Take one more minute to reflect on what has made you smile & all the amazing things you’ve done with your day. Be sure to include being a part of this journey as one of your accomplishments!Carlos / (CC BY-NC 2.0)
